AGE of INNOCENCE
An analysis of trend patterns throughout historical garments interlaced with contemporary outlooks of modern day structure and silhouettes.
Garments are constructed with the combination of sheer and light fabrics with the application of details from Victorian stays/ corsetry. The contrasting sheer and opaque layers are piled on the human figure to recreate illusions of the various silhouettes that have been oppressed onto women throughout history in the name of 'femininity.'
